The AdNews Agency of the Year Awards started in 1986 with the announcement of a single award. They now cover 14 agency categories, plus an overall winner named the AdNews Agency of the Year.
Entries from agencies are submitted each January and evaluated by an independent panel of senior marketing executives.
Finalists in each category are announced in early February, with the winners announced at the Awards dinner in late February. Attended by a sell-out crowd of more than 600, the AdNews Awards dinner is the event of the year for advertising executives.
It is widely acknowledged as "the only one to win".
HALL OF FAME
The AdNews Advertising Hall of Fame was launched in 2009 with 12 incumbents. A new entrant is inducted each year at the Agency of the Year Awards Presentation Night. See inductees for full details.
