So, you think you've got what it takes to design CREATIVE'S front cover?
Well . . . prove it.
CREATIVE is opening up the August Innovation Issue cover to creative concepts designed by the industry, for the industry.
We want the wow factor, which will coincide with the August feature theme of Innovation.
Apart from the necessary design guides, we are leaving the rest of the idea totally up to you!
The Innovation Issue is dedicated to, you guessed it, innovation.
We are looking for eye catching, ideas driven and bold imagery with high-end design values. The image should sum up what creatives working in design, production, and advertising, have planned for the future of creative innovation.
Send a low-res version of the image to the editor, Larissa Meikle at
, by COB June 15, 2008. Make sure to include your daytime contact details.
The winner will be announced online that month and the most creative runners-up will also be published inside the August Issue.
The competition winner will receive an Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Premium valued at $3,205.00 (for more information visit here or adobe.com.au), along with a one-year complimentary subscription to CREATIVE.
IMAGE GUIDELINES:
• Please ensure you leave enough space for the masthead.
• Please leave enough open space for coverlines.
• Image must be 300DPI, high res, jpg.
• The cover dimensions are 300mm high by 240mm wide.
• Please send the image only, we will add the masthead and coverlines.
• All work submitted must be the original work of the creator and will remain the property of the creative.
• Permission is given for CREATIVE to use the image on the cover of the August 2008 issue.
• The winner is picked at the discretion of the editor and this is a priceless opportunity.
Entries close on June 15, 2008 and the winner's work will be published in August, 2008.
