From the Editor

2026 is set to be another landmark year for Australia’s HVACR industry with change once again dominating the national agenda. The countdown to net zero is accelerating to accommodate electrification, decarbonisation, sustainability and a changing climate. Despite economic improvements, including a significant spike in construction budgets and increased demand for heating and cooling solutions, the national skills crisis continues to have a significant impact.

Global factors, such as supply chain pressures and refrigerant uncertainty, continue to influence investment decisions. Despite these challenges, CCN will continue to support your success and provide an independent voice for Australia’s HVACR industry.
